From July 24, forty-one of our 2023 Fall admitted Stony Brook University and FIT students are working hard to enhance their English and mathematical skills before the start of the semester. The AE Program is designed to help incoming first-year students with a smooth transition into college life at SUNY Korea. Students were able to overview subjects such as mathematics, reading, and writing. Can't wait to meet all of the Fall 2023 admitted students on campus soon! As part of the final project in EST 221: Multimedia for Online Content Platforms, students incorporated what they learned throughout the semester in the form of live streaming. In class, students were able to build knowledge on the technical properties of media such as audio, video graphics, text, animation, etc. For this project, a student and professor blind-tested four different types of bread. How fun!

한국뉴욕주립대학교의 2023년 봄학기 입시결과에 따르면 과학예술영재고 졸업생의 입학, 자사고·특목고 학생들의 지원율이 전년 대비 약 42% 높아졌다. 수능우수자전형을 통해 일반고 학생들의 지원율 또한 높아졌으며 고교 성적도 전년보다 상향되었다. 그동안 지원자가 없었던 국내 우수 고등학교 출신이 약 34% 상승해 신입생의 고교 학력 우수성 측면에서 괄목할 만한 성장세를 보였다. 국내 국제학교 졸업생뿐 아니라 해외 중·고등학교를 다닌 한국 학생들이 한국뉴욕주립대 입학을 위해 다시 한국으로 돌아오고 있다. For the last two weeks, sixteen of our 2023 Spring admitted Stony Brook University students completed the SUNY Korea Access to Excellence Program. The AE Program is designed to help incoming freshmen with a smooth transition into college life at SUNY Korea. Students were able to overview subjects such as mathematics, reading, and writing. We truly hope that everyone enjoyed their two weeks making new friends and memories before the start of the Spring 2023 semester.
