1. Program Overview
Program Name: Korea-EU Collaborative Research Promotion Project
Purpose: To support researchers in participating in Horizon Europe, fostering and enhancing Korea-EU collaborative research.
2. Project Details
Number of Projects Opened: 15 projects
Supported Fields: Pillar I and Pillar II under the Horizon Europe program
※ Both the European Research Council (ERC) and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) programs under Pillar I are eligible for support.
Project Duration: 1 year
Funding Amount: Up to KRW 25 million per project per year, with indirect costs capped at 5% of direct costs.
Support Scope: Financial support for domestic researchers in preparatory activities to facilitate participation in the Horizon Europe program, including engagement and collaboration efforts.
3. Application Eligibility & Restrictions
Requirements for Researchers: Applicants must be preparing proposals for Horizon Europe, forming international consortia that include at least three EU countries, along with Korea.
