1. Program Overview

• Program Name: AI & Humanoid Robotics Development Support Project

• Purpose:Supporting AI humanoid robot developmentforRoboCup 2025 participants in Incheon.  

2. Project Details

• Number of Projects: 2

• Funding Amount:KRW 100 million per project per year

• Project Period: 

- Year 1: From the contract date to December 31, 2025

- Year 2:From early 2026 to December 31, 2026 (subject to annual re-selection)

• Funding Support: Covers essential costsforhumanoid robot development to meet the technical requirementsforRoboCup 2026. 

Eligible expenses include:

- Testbed setupforrobot development

- Material purchases (research materials)

- Research activity costs

- Personnel expenses 

- Indirect costs

3. Application Eligibility & Requirements

1) Eligible Institutions:Universities in Incheon (Including Universities in IGC) which is capable of developing AI humanoid robots and participating in RoboCup 2026

2) Mandatory Participation in Industry-Academia-Government Consortium Council:

• Researchers are required to actively engage in the consortium council to monitor project progress and facilitate networking.
• The council serves as a platform to enhance R&D collaboration, accelerate the commercialization of AI & humanoid robotics, and promote the sharing of data and expertise to drive technological advancements.
• Following RoboCup participation, researchers must continue consortium council activities to maximize project outcomes and ensure sustained collaboration.

4. Application Period & Required Documents

• Application Submission (via IRDS System): March 7, 2025 (Fri) – March 27, 2025 (Thu) by 18:00 (KST)
