National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) is calling for proposals for the 2026 Korea-Japan (JSPS) Joint Research Program, as part of its core bilateral cooperation program. The call has two categories: Joint Research Projects and Joint Seminars.
Korean principal investigators must coordinate in advance with their Japanese counterparts regarding the research field and project topic before submission.
Both Korean and Japanese teams must apply separately to NRF (Korea) and JSPS (Japan), respectively.
When applying, the Korean PI must submit the proposal under the name of "SUNY Korea University" (and not the Industry-Academia Cooperation Foundation) as the host institution.
If you have any questions or need assistance during the application process, please feel free to reach out.
