INSIGHT Distinguished Speaker Series #1 “Hyundai’s Venture Capital and the Korean startup ecosystem: a personal take”

 

On March 20th, Wednesday, Business Management Department held its first INSIGHT Distinguished Speaker Series with the speaker Mr. JungJin Lee, Deputy General Manager at Hyundai Venture Investment Corporation

 

In his speech, Mr. Lee described the current ecosystem for Korean startup by emphasizing venture capital business based on his own experience as a venture capitalist and an entrepreneur prior to joining Hyundai’s VC arm. He also encouraged the students to be more aware of venture capital as it nurtures startups by providing timely funding and also helps startups to expand their business by proposing new business strategies.
